A season of darkness and gloom enters her life,
The creator of life seems distant from her,
STILL SHE STANDS!
Her leaves begin to fall and wither,
Stripping each time leaving her naked and exposed,
STILL SHE STANDS!
The air is very chilled now,
The horizon bleak,
Cold and isolated,
She feels defeated,
STILL SHE STANDS!
She’s endured life’s seasons before,
She has hope,
Everything will eventually fall back into place,
She stands firmly grounded,
As harsh elements harass her branches,
But in Him her roots are deep,
She will not be moved,
Her faith holds her together.
Each day is closer to when the sun will rise to her favor,
And the sunset will be way shorter,
To when her wings will heal,
And she can soar high up in the sky,
And she is enjoying the warmth and embracing this moment,
For seasons come and go,
But His constant love remains,
His colors are the same,
This she knows,
This she believes,
His spirit is rooted deep inside her,
She trusts His plan,
She is following Him.
SO STILL SHE STANDS!
Remember;
A woman is like Water,
She is Soft enough to Offer Life,
And she is Tough enough to Drown it Away.
