A FUTURE MOTHER’S WISHFUL THINKING

One day I will have a baby,

She will be chubby like her mum,

She will have a round face accompanied by black beautiful eyes,

She will  have a cute smile on her face ,

She will hopefully have beautiful hair,

She may be stubborn but how can I know?

But I just hope to one day meet her.

I yearn to hold her in my arms,

I yearn to hear her soulful cries,

I yearn to be called a mother,

I yearn to embrace a photocopy of myself “Mini me”

I truly yearn for the day my wish will be a reality.

One day I’m going to be a mom,

I’m going to run across the grassland with my daughter,

I’m going to wake up exhausted but happy at the same time,

I’m going to watch sunrises and sunsets as I feel the bliss of motherhood,

I’m going to hope her dad will be in her life and teach her how a man should treat a woman,

One day I’m going to have a baby!

One day I’m going to caress her soft sensitive skin,

One day I’m going to say goodbye to being single,

One day I’m going to cry as my daughter goes off to school,

One day I’m going to be heartbroken by my daughter,

One day I,m going to embrace parenthood.

One day I will have a baby,

She will challenge me,

She will irritate me,

She may ruin my body, She may not turn out as I hope,

She may be different from what I expect,

She may be a lot of things but she will always remain to be my miracle.

She will be everything that is perfect wrapped in a tiny bundle.

One day I will have a baby!

Remember;

Before you joined me in this world…

I dreamed of you and imagined how you would turn out,

I went to God and prayed that you may be a member of my family,

Now that you are finally here…

I wish nothing but the best for you,

I will offer you unconditional love,

I thank God for you because you are the last piece of my puzzle.

Never forget that life isn’t a matter of milestones but rather, it is a matter of moments.

      4. I agree that passionate writing is the easiest. I mix up my writing. I decided to challenge myself beyond my comfort zones. Also I noticed my writing has been evolving and sometimes I can barely explain what I write. Another thing I learnt is that passions change over time.
Also welcome to the blogging hemisphere. You will love the journey and learn a lot. All the best.
