MISS WAVES JOURNEY 1

I have thought my entire life I needed rivers, oceans, the sun, stars, moon, forests, mountains or magnificent lights to be happy. Truth is, all I needed was God and myself. I do not care where I am as long as I’m with Him and me. I have shed a million layers of skin to become who I am and whenever I feel overwhelmed by the many people I once was, I remember, my bones may have grown but what makes them has never changed.

You know, finding myself is a journey that I’m still exploring and truthfully is harder and much real than I thought. I made a decision to date myself and find out more about me and so far I am having a thrill identifying what makes me tick.  I’m less stressed, more focused, much more open-minded and a little bit braver. Miss Waves has been on a tour of self-discovery and the safari has been very different from what she had ever imagined.

She found…..

A voice that had been silenced,

Dreams that had been hidden,

A world that is so magnificent,

Joy that she had only heard of,

Memories she never thought were possible,

Hopes she never knew she had,

Love that had been buried in the shadows,

Strength that had been residing in her all along,

Bravery that had been withheld by fear,

A life she had prayed for since childhood,

Intelligence that was just bursting to come out,

A talent she had shyed from utilizing,

The muse that had evaded her,

The glue she needed to stick herself together,

And Salvation she never saw coming.

She realized that if the ocean can calm itself ,so can she!

She was like water and she would never know her power if she never moved.

The Grace of God had been around her all this time but she had never taken the time to see it.

Remember;

If someone does not want me it is not the end of the world but if I do not want me, the world is nothing but shatters and endings.
