I WANT

The path to becoming a great society is one filled with contours and shapes you barely understand. I have watched the people around me and heard stories about some of the things going on this world and my heart just sinks with worry. The level of hate, greed, betrayal and individualism in the world has shattered the very back bone of the human species.

Gone are the days when the young respected the elderly, the parents gave wise counsel to their children, families supported every member and not just choose which relatives to hang out with. Ooh how I wish I could go back to the good old days when…

The line between good and evil was clear and not blurry,

Change actually brought progress and not confusion,

Promises were binding and not just words,

Daddies never abandoned their children come what may.

I want to believe in love but the hole in my heart runs too deep.

I want to go on a coffee date and enjoy it but I’m afraid I might come back broken.

I yearn to be in a relationship but the ugliness of the world pushes this thoughts away.

I want to leg go and be free but the chains of fear keep holding me.

I want to watch the sun rise and listen to beautiful melodies by the birds in the morning but I’m too dead on the inside to enjoy this.

I want to live in a world where poverty is no longer heard of.

I want my children to live their life and not just exist in this cruel world.

I want to never hear of broken families, children or people but who will rescue those already damaged.

I want a country where politics doesn’t separate its people but I may never see this in my life time.

I want a time when leaders lead the people to peace and prosperity and not doom and destruction.

I want a place where honesty and love binds the people and not individualism and greed.

I want a voice that showers hope to the oppressed and leaves smiles to the sad.

I want a society where opportunities are available to all not just a select few.

I want a world where the living are treated better than the dead.

I want a situation where wars will never be used to solve political agendas or personal vendettas.

I could go on and on about what I want. The list is endless but I do hope at least some of these things would come to pass.

I WANT AN IMPERFECT WORLD TO BE PERFECT!!!

Remember;

Always protect your heart from the savages who may detect you are a glass and their aim is to always break things. True power is commanding authority without using your title but rather by igniting fire in your followers and giving them the flares they need to soar high.
