If I tell you about my troubles would you help me out?
If I reached out for a shoulder to lean on would you give me yours?
If I tell you I’m broken would you look at me twice?
If I tell you I love you would you reciprocate that?
If I confessed my darkest secrets would you still accept me?
If I tell you your touch ignites my soul would you believe me?
If I tell you your fights are also mine would you let me help you?
If I tell you I’m shattered would you put me back together?
If I tell you my heart only yearns for you would you be happy?
If I tell you my thoughts are consumed by you would you share in the fire?
If I asked you to join me in my story would you pick a pen and walk by my side?
If I tell you that you are my kryptonite and my pyramid would you allow me in your world?
I ask all these questions with hope beaming in my face and a sparkle of light shinning in my eyes.
It is easy to lose sight of who has your back and who has it long enough to stab you in it but never lose a diamond while chasing glitter because even though thunderstorms no longer scare you , it doesn’t mean lightning is no longer dangerous.
Never forget that most people survive in this world because the fire inside them burns brighter than the fire around them.
